I've been pretty much obsessed with art since I started scribbling with crayons as a kid.  In school, I was the one who was always drawing all over my notes and homework assignments. 

 

I grew up in a REALLY small town (population 500), in a house nestled in the lush green forests of the Pacific Northwest.  I was fortunate to have parents who supported my ongoing obsession with art and with their help, I took every art class I could; animation, fashion design, jewelry making, cartooning, you name it! 

 

I went to college for art, then went to teach English in Tokyo, Japan, for about 2 years.  My lesson plans were always filled with hand illustrated vocabulary cards, stories, and games I invented.  It was a lot of fun to use my creativity as a learning tool for kids and I loved the Japanese culture.

I moved to Maui, Hawaii, in 2010 on a family vacation and am happily still living on Maui today!

I am constantly inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Hawaiian islands.  All the bright colors and sunshine seem to make their way into my art.

I'm currently working on illustrated children's storybooks, Tshirt designs, and coloring books in my free time.  I plan to put LOTS more art into the world in my lifetime!
